Hi, my name is Debbie Basden. Born and educated in the UK before starting my career in South Africa. After 4 years I returned to work in Bristol within the insurance sector for 10 years, before moving to Kenya as a Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers focusing on the private sector.
My coaching therapy journey started with NLP about 10 years ago when I was still living in Kenya and life threw me a curved ball. Since then I have been able to help others regain their balance, with empathy and compassion, when they were going round in circles or experiencing a bumpy patch. Now I specialise in calming distressed adults with anxiety, imposter syndrome, panic attacks, phobias, grief, PTSD, depression and suicidal thoughts.
Since 2013, I have conducting hundreds of private sessions with Clients located in the UK, Europe, Middle East, India, Africa, Australia and the USA. Some of my Kenyan Clients overcame traumatic events such as the US Embassy Bombing, Westgate Shopping Mall siege and the Dusit Hotel shootings which made headline news all over the world. More recently I have volunteered to work with www.IcarusCharity.org, which provides mental health assistance to veterans and serving personnel with trauma and PTSD.
During the last 20+ years transforming organisation structures, cultures and processes in the Eastern Africa region, I also enhanced my professional qualifications as a; Life Coach, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner , EFT / Tapping Advanced Accredited Practitioner, Advanced Core Transformation Practitioner and a Diploma in Human Resources Management. More recently I have added Havening Practitioner skills.
